Below you can find tips to help you prepare for your photoshoot. Don’t worry about not knowing how to pose. We are here to help you get your best angles!

make sure you get a good rest the day before…

1

Be comfortable

Wear something you’re comfortable in but make sure you feel like a million bucks in it!

2

Prepare your outfits

Steam or iron your outfits when needed: Removing wrinkles from clothes incur additional costs so be sure to get that taken care of before your session.

3

Hire Professionals

Hire a professional hair and makeup artist. When you hire a professional who is good at what they do, not only do you get a boost of confidence during your session but you get to walk away with beautiful images!

4

Scheduling Times

For outdoor sessions, it’s important to schedule your session at the golden hour. During the day, when the sun is too harsh is usually not ideal for taking photos. Early mornings usually has the best lighting conditions for taking photos so if you’re an early bird, consider choosing time where the sun just begins to rise.

5

Make it a date!

For couple shoots - turn the whole day into a date! Yes! See this time as an opportunity document the connection between the two of you from the beginning of the day to the day break. You could begin the day doing something as simple as making breakfast together or accompanying your partner to get their makeup done and ready for the session.

6

Choose a location

As photographers, we’re here to help you in your decision making when booking a session. But it’s important to choose a location that reflects you as a couple. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a place where you first met or had your first kiss.

If you’re the kind of couple

That enjoys traveling & the scenery at beaches

Maybe taking photos at the beach will be right for you. Or, you might be the couple that loves nature! Then maybe we can do photos in the forest or mountains.
